FloodMAR: Managed aquifer recharge with floodwaters

This screening tool helps identify the best sites for managed aquifer recharge using floodwaters (FloodMAR). The tool uses a combination of hydrological and geophysical modeling combined with social science research to guide interested parties through every step of the site selection process, uncovering potential hurdles as well as hidden opportunities and benefits.
Dam Removal Cost Estimator

The costs associated with dam removal can vary widely based on several factors. Shiny App was developed to provide cost estimates for dam removal projects within the conterminous United States. Since cost considerations can influence dam removal planning, prioritization, and execution, this tool is built as a resource for the dam removal community of practice.
CSTORM Modeling Toolkit

The EWN CSTORM Modeling Toolkit provides a method for predicting the impact that Engineering With Nature (EWN) features may have on the coastal resiliency of communities, quantifying changes to predicted values of storm surge, inundation, and wave attenuation for various storm events (i.e. 1/100, or 1/1000) if these features were implemented.

A USACE ERDC-led report informing engineering activities related to site investigation and design of floodplain benches for use by engineers and ecologists to inform the design of floodplain benches in a manner consistent with and to augment other planning, design, and engineering guidance.
Engineering Practice Guide for Oyster Reefs (2026)
A USACE ERDC-led report providing engineering practice guidance for the design of oyster reefs as natural infrastructure in coastal systems for use by engineers, ecologists, and interdisciplinary teams to support coastal resilience, ecological function, and other project objectives while considering performance, risk, cost, and long-term sustainability.
