Partners Represent N-EWN at 2024 AISES Conference

Last week, a few of our partners joined forces to spread the word of N-EWN at the 2024 American Indian Science and Engineering Society National Conference (AISES) in San Antonio, Texas.

The crew, made up of professionals and students from USACE, San Antonio River Authority, University of Oklahoma, Biohabitats and LimnoTech spent the day talking to conference attendees during the exhibition portion of the event. Their conversations were largely with students, where they discussed the unique opportunities that being part of N-EWN can offer.

Lee Marlowe, San Antonio River Authority, and Craig Taylor, LimnoTech.

This outreach was organized by the N-EWN Tribal Nations Outreach Working Group, a party of N-EWN members invested in building relationships with Indigenous experts and communities for the co-production of nature-based solutions.

Thanks to anyone who stopped by to chat, and major thanks to our awesome table attendants: Shaun Donovan, Mark Gilfillan, Hailey Seago, Simone Whitecloud, Craig Taylor, Jacob Berkowitz, Jessica Norris, Michelle Larson, and Lee Marlowe.
