The city of Austin, Texas is engaged in, and values, the principles, and benefits of collaborative applied research towards the goal of better stewardship of Austin’s watersheds. The Environmental Monitoring and Compliance (EMC) division scientists assess watershed conditions and their research informs the solution space implemented by the department.
