Planning your visit

The Hyatt Place St. Augustine / Vilano Beach Hotel is located at 117 Vilano Road, St. Augustine, FL 32084

We highly encourage reserving hotel rooms at our venue, the Hyatt Place St. Augustine / Vilano Beach. Our contracted rates are currently lower than regular rates at neighboring hotels. The group rate is $169 + tax for regular rooms and $189 + tax for rooms with balconies. Free hot breakfast is included, and the hotel is one block from the beach.

The room block is open now through April 21, 2024, but is very likely to sell out sooner. You can change or cancel your reservation up to 3 days before the first night with no fees. Block rates are valid through Thursday night, May 23. Regular weekend rates apply starting Friday night, May 24, if you decide to extend your stay.

Nearby options include the Hampton Inn and the Holiday Inn Express. Official regular rates and government rates (as of February 2, subject to change) are the  Hampton Inn & Suites St. Augustine-Vilano Beach next door to the Hyatt ($231 + tax / $148 + tax US govt rate), or the  Holiday Inn Express across the street ($226 + tax / $139 + tax US govt rate).

about st. augustine

The Symposium will be held in one of the oldest cities in the U.S., with a fascinating history. Learn more from one of our Bronze Sponsors, St. Augustine Ponte Vedra.

A Publix grocery store and several casual dining spots are located right across the street from the hotel, including a Chinese fast food spot and Surfside Kitchen.  Pesca offers a sit-down restaurant space and the rooftop bar at the Hyatt Place. Two other spots within walking distance are Vilano Grill 180 and Beaches at Vilano. You can find several more seafood-focused spots within about 3 miles (Hyatt has some listed here), and if you are willing to drive further, you’ll find many more options of all types in the St. Augustine area!
