We are engineers and scientists who have a passion for clean, sustainable water.

Our Work

We are an employee-owned environmental science and engineering firm providing water-related services to clients throughout the United States and internationally. Since our founding in 1975, our mission has been to: work on challenging projects, work with great people, and protect and enhance the water environment. These have guided our culture and allowed us to help create an outstanding team of smart, talented people who help our clients make informed decisions and build better places to live.

LimnoTech has extensive experience helping clients plan, model, and design improvements to their waterways and coastlines, creating resilient, livable communities and vibrant ecosystems. We are convenors and facilitators. Our team is skilled at engaging partners, seeking and achieving consensus to inform strategic planning, project scoping and funding, and developing collective plans of action that deliver multiple benefits. We are also project implementers, working collaboratively across disciplines such as civil and environmental engineering, landscape architecture, and ecological design to deliver impactful projects.

Our clients and partners trust our ingenuity, expertise, and passion for clean, sustainable water. With under 100 employees, we are uniquely situated to combine the depth and breadth of experience offered by a large firm with the flexibility and responsiveness of a smaller firm. We are also a minority business enterprise for Federal contracts, and LimnoTech provides services under the primary NAICS code 541620 for environmental consulting services.
