EWN Podcast hosts series “Conservations on Climate Change” with Katharine Hayhoe, TNC

The Engineering With Nature Podcast, hosted by Sarah Thorne and EWN Director Jeff King, has a talent for taking on important topics in the overlap between engineering and environmental science. This summer, they welcomed Katharine Hayhoe, Chief Scientist of The Nature Conservancy (TNC) for “a conversation on climate change that was so deep and wide ranging that [they broke] it into three episodes.”

Hayhoe is many things: a scientist, a climate communications expert, an author, and an advocate. In 2019, she was named a United Nations Champions of the Earth Laureate for Science and Innovation. Across the three episodes, Hayhoe, Thorne and King discuss climate change, how our actions shape the environment, and “the need to do something about it.”
